Floating in the nostalgic deep end of pool parties from the 70s, and chlorinated by Boogie Nights (1997), Venroy Melrose is inspired by the atmosphere of LA poolside life, highlighting tiled surfaces, the reflective quality of water and of summer light.

From its origins in Sydney’s Bondi, and the viral success of the SoHo store in New York City in 2024, it was only fitting that Venroy chose Sydney’s sister city of LA to unfold within next.

So… wanna come over for a (proverbial) swim?

Sooo, did you hear? We threw a party in the abandoned cinema formerly known as the Palace Verona! Guests were greeted at the old box office to head upstairs where the lobby was flipped into a mini-dancefloor, smoker’s corner and open bar. At the stroke of 11pm, a Venroy Hunk surprised Club Club-goers by busting open the main cinema house emptied of seating to reveal an amphitheater, complete with state-of-the-art lightshow, soundsystem, and floor-to-ceiling projections of the latest collection. There were Venroy Go-Go Girls, more Hunks, and more influencers than you could poke a stick at. People came, partied and did whatever Club-goers do.

Anyway, what happens at the Club Club, stays at the Club Club. Sort of lol. You know what they say: Pics or it didn’t happen.

We brought the Venroy Hunks down to our Bondi store to wash your dirty doggies. If your pup was lucky enough to get a V monogram bandana, send us a pic!

On a blistering New York day, the Venroy Hunks sauntered through SoHo, quenching the thirst of parched punters. Graciously offering ice cold waters to one and all who lined the sidewalk, the Hunks smiled, flexed, and patted the very cute, panting four-legged friends who also stopped by.

So we threw a party in the USA! Popping up in Greene St in Manhattan’s SoHo, we hosted an opening event and invited friends, fam and neighbours.

Among the guests were Aussies Georgia Fowler and Leah McCarthy, man-about-town Antoni Porowski, the lovely Justine Skye, the beautiful Megan Williams, as well as DJs Issac Likes & Amrit Tietz.

Set within Manhattan’s Soho district, Venroy’s latest pop up aims to evoke the saltwater and sand of Australia in New York City

June 2024 — This summer, Venroy takes up a new residence in the bustling neighbourhood of SoHo, on Greene Street, side-by-side with a plethora of iconic American juggernauts.

Popping up with a tight edit of Venroy’s Core and Seasonal collections, as well as the brand’s signature fragrance and accessories, the Venroy Soho pop-up is a deconstructed vision of Bondi Beach, and bringing that sea, sand and warmth to New York City meant an assemblage of materials to create a home away from home.

To celebrate the launch of our Winter 24 collection, we hosted an intimate get together in Melbourne at new-wave Japanese diner, Future Future.

Among the guests were Martha K, Bernad Ngendakumana and Gemma Chua Tran, who all wore their favourite pieces from the collection to join our founder Sean Venturi for dinner, to soak up the vibes from our latest campaign, entitled ‘Lost in Japan’, which was shot in and around Tokyo.

In time for Summer, Venroy unveils the new flagship store. Residing in the former Bondi Beach Post Office an iconic local landmark; set just back from the place where it all began 13 years ago – Bondi Beach.

In marking a new era, we celebrated in store with creators, guests and friends of the brand before heading down the road to local favourite Da Orazio for an after party.

About Last Week

We officially opened Venroy Montauk, 6 S Etna Avenue, NY; with an intimate long-lunch joined by friends of the brand at Duryea's restaurant, with tables styled by The Table New York, to celebrate the launch of the store, and the Holiday 23 collection.

Guests wore their favourite pieces from the Holiday 23 collection that explored new prints, motifs, fabrics and elevated pieces designed to transition from European summer days to elegant sunsets and glamorous dinners.

A feast was served as our guests joined founder, Sean Venturi, to toast the season ahead. Following lunch, the party continued in store, for refreshing drinks, canapés, enjoying music and vibes from DJ Isaac Likes.

This summer, Venroy lands on the southern shores of Long Island, New York, in the small coastal hamlet of Montauk.

Designed by Sarah I'Anson, Venroy's in-house architect, the store embodies the spirit of the Venroy hotel concept, playfully realised from room to room through curated furniture and objects d’art - selected for both aesthetic and function - to dynamically display product. Much like its seasonal neighbour across the Atlantic, Venroy Capri.

The seasonal store will showcase Holiday 23, a collection of iconic, easy to pack, elevated pieces. It will also offer an exclusive capsule, Venroy Montauk Merchandise, that celebrates the nautical inspirations of the storied fishing village.

Welcome to Venroy Sandbox, a seasonal concept store in Claremont, Perth.

The space embodies our affinity for travel and leisure through a series of five free-standing ‘trunks’.Finished in specialised ‘sand’ paint, the trunks have a textured, weathered appearance that feels right at home by the sea—a nod to Perth’s beautiful beaches and celebrated coastal towns.

Held at Raes Hotel, on Wategos beach, Venroy hosted a lunch for friends of the brand ahead of the official opening of the Byron Bay store.

Guests enjoyed the relaxed dining experience amongst the idyllic surroundings and were dressed in pieces from the new collection.

On Thursday evening, we officially opened our 7th retail destination with an in-store event at our new Byron Bay home.

Located in the Jonson Lane precinct, guests embraced the warmer weather whilst feasting on delicacies from caterer, The Hut. Humidity was kept at bay with refreshments from CAPI, Malfy Gin and Luna Wines whilst guests danced to tracks by DJ Central Sonic.

Designed to reflect a traditional Italian Piazza, retail in Byron Bay has been reimagined.

Welcome to Venroy Byron Bay; inspired by the piazza's of Rome and their eternal water fountains.

The Venroy Piazza fosters a welcoming, community environment where people can shop, gather, and ultimately relax.

Travertine, a traditional Italian building material, envelopes the floors and columns to conjure an alfresco sensibility. With the natural aging of materials purposefully embraced to instil warmth and character over time.

Mid century Italian lighting and object emanate the spirit of travel and create a unique sense of place. Venroy Byron Bay is an ode to the relaxed way of public life and a yearning for an Italian escape.

Venroy hosted an event at La Scala, the home of architects Adrian & Ingrid Spence. Guests were treated to catering by local James Street institution, Bianca, and refreshing botanical Malfy gin cocktails were served.

In line with the Spring campaign, the home was awash in a terracotta hue, presenting as Franca Sozzani's riad in Morocco. Daimon Downey and Venroy music consultant, Dan Lywood, curated the set for the evening in celebration of warmer days ahead.
